Lesbians go ski!
The Arosa Gay Ski Week is an international event, where you have the opportunity to meet Gays and Lesbians who want to share the fun of winter sports and the beauty of a charming mountain resort. It is true that in the last years we didn’t have many lesbians joining us, but we hope that in the future, a growing number of women will join, ready to ski, mix and party with us.
Most events during the week are mixed, you can already make you an idea by consulting our program. Dinners with womens tables and special activities like a curling evening will be organised. Some of our DJs and artists are lesbian and we also have girlie ski guiding for those who enjoy skiing in a woman group. By the way in 2009, the infamous « Drag Queen Race » was won by a charming lesbian who participate as a Drag-King! Whatever your mood on the day, you will certainly have fun during the week!
In Arosa there is a wide choice of hotels, bed & breakfasts and holiday apartments to suit all. Our favorites are the «Dorothe's», a small and affordable guest house run by Dorothy personally and the «hotel Asora», with it's restaurant «Orelli» named after its founder Susanna Orelli and owned by the Women's League of Zurich (ZFV). Whatever your choice is, we are sure you will appreciate the quality of our hosting partners!
